Are you a Federal Employee? Donate to VLP through CFC

Posted by on Oct 1, 2016 in News | 0 comments

Did you know that Veterans Leadership Program is a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charity? That means that all United States government employees can make a donation to VLP through the 3 Rivers/Pennsylvania West Combined Federal Campaign. Each fall, Federal employees are invited to support eligible national and local charities. Employees choose the groups they wish to support from a list of approved charities that have met the U.S. federal government’s high standards of program impact and financial accountability. The 2016 CFC official campaign season runs from October 1st through December 15th. Through the CFC, federal employees have raised over $8 billion since 1961 to help sustain community, state, national and international health, educational, environmental and human services. Many of you ask how you can help support VLP’s mission, and this is an easy way to make a big difference! If you are employed by the Federal government, please consider giving to VLP through the CFC. It’s simple! Select VLP – CFC Agency #38965 – and complete a CFC form or make an online pledge contribution through your payroll. Visit to learn about the federal payroll program. If you have friends or relatives who are Federal civilian, military or postal employees, please encourage them to donate to us well! Every penny counts and will truly make an impact on a local Veteran. Even the smallest donation could help to provide a family with food and toiletries. Thank you for continuing to support our critical mission of serving local veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, unemployed or underemployed, or facing an emergency. With your support, we can continue to connect Veterans to permanent housing, meaningful jobs and essential services.    ...
