VLP offers four permanent housing programs specifically designed to assist Veterans living with a disability.

All of our permanent housing programs are funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Similar to our other housing programs, case managers talk to their clients on the phone, meet face-to-face at VLP’s offices and conduct routine home visits. By building rapport with their clients, case managers can better serve each individual.

HUD INDEPENDENCE

Independence offers assistance to single Veterans and Veteran families living with disabilities.

HUD LIBERTY

Liberty offers support to single Veterans with a disability.

HUD VALOR

Valor is a permanent housing program for Veterans and Veteran families living with disabilities.

HUD VICTORY

Victory is our largest permanent housing program for Veterans with a disability and their families.

Through our permanent housing programs, VLP can assist any Veteran living in Allegheny County who is homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, and living with diagnosed disability. Please call Allegheny Link at (866) 730-2368 to see if you are eligible for these programs.
